Hand in Hand

Mission Statement

The Hand in Hand Project for the Prevention of Human Trafficking, Sexual Assault, and Domestic Violence addresses the needs of the Redwood Coast region and the challenges faced in accessing comprehensive and effective sexual assault and domestic violence victim services that are culturally relevant and responsive.

Action Network offers population specific victim services, delivers outreach strategies to increase community awareness and support for survivors through a trauma informed approach. We build the capacity of community service providers to provide assistance through trainings, culturally and linguistically appropriate materials, and collaborative strategies for prevention. We are part of a task force with two other organizations, Project Sanctuary in Mendocino County and Verity in Sonoma County, coordinating efforts within the rural region we serve.
